How To String A Bow
Step 1
Put the upper limb of the bow through the larger loop of the bow string and position the smaller loop in the string groove of the lower limb. (see diagram A)

Step 2a

For Saddle or Limb-to-Tip stringers:
Push the large pocket of the stringer firmly over the lower limb tip, taking care that the bow string stays in position. Place the saddle of the bow stringer securely over the upper limb. (see diagram B). Now proceed to step 3.

Step 2b
For End-to-End or Tip-to-Tip stringers:
Push the large pocket of the stringer firmly over the lower limb tip, taking care that the bow string stays in position. Place the small pocket of the bow stringer securely over the upper limb. (see diagram C). Now proceed to step 3.

Step 3
Step with one or both feet on the middle of the bow stringer. Pull the bow up with one hand and slide the bowstring towards the end of the upper limb with the other hand until it slots into the groove. Check to make sure both ends of the string loops are properly positioned in the grooves and then slowly relax the bow stringer. The bow is now assembled. The bow stringer can now be removed. (see diagram D).

Reverse procedure to unstring bow.
